  Hey fam!

  Two quick bits of biz as you prepare to post your mix here in the Member Spotlight:

  1. 👍 Give your post a unique name. Try to avoid generic discussion titles like “Mix Review” – instead, think of a descriptive name that will be more memorable and easily searchable. You could include the song title or genre or any specific guidance you’re hoping to receive. Maybe something like:

  • When The Levee Breaks – are my drums too compressed, or nah?
  • Need help getting my EDM vocals to sit in the mix
  • Just finished my disco bop YMCA! Thoughts?

  2. 📎 Upload your audio using the “attach document” icon within your forum post. We’ve been having trouble with links that point to 3rd party sites like dropbox, as they tend to remain active only temporarily. By using the built in “attach document” feature, you can select your audio file (mp3 only, please) and it will remain active, hosted on Mix Protégé so that future visitors can learn from our meaningful, supportive discussion threads without bumping into broken Dropbox links.
