Just for your reference, this is the middle section rap of a song followed by the start of the third verse. There’s an obvious tempo change but no vocal on the third verse yet. Hey Paul, Absolutely love the personality that shines through in your mixes & musical creations. To me the dryer, cleaner, more upfront, aspects of your mixes remind me of some of my favorite tracks from the 70’s. Thanks for sharing!~

David, Thanks. You recognize my early musical influences precisely. Intelligibility and clarity that I fought to achieve for so long in hostile acoustic environments (live audio) carried over into my approach in the recording world where we have complete control, including firing any player that doesn’t play for the team and insists on overplaying. Appreciate the word.

Nice! I’m ITB as well – have been for the past many years, happily. My main speakers are ATC SCM45As. I also have a trusty (smaller) pair of their SCM25As. They’re both excellent.
