I just wanted to share about a plugin I just purchased called Midi Guitar 2 from “Jam Origin.” It’s not cheap at $150 and I’ve only been using it for a day so I can’t truly vouch for it completely but from what I’ve experienced so far it’s VERY cool. It’s a software that converts the audio coming out of your guitar into midi in REAL TIME, essentially making any of your guitars into a midi guitar. No hardware required. You plug into your audio interface, add the plugin to a track, and your guitar becomes whatever virtual sound from your DAW or any 3rd party VST you want. My mind is totally blown. Just wanted to let people know about it who are more comfortable producing music with guitar than keyboard. Theres a free trial which got me hooked!
