    Hey Mix protege fam!

I thought you might get a kick out of this video! In it you can see where we recorded the song that you guys gave me feedback on. The Flugelhorn was recorded live in the woods on that sm 57 but I re-tracked my guitar at home (the stems that you all helped me out with.) I had a great lesson with Dana and he showed me a lot about aligning phasing with multiple mics and DI (we used little labs phase alignment tool) Anyways — Thanks again for all your help and insight with this track, everybody! I’m so thankful for this community and space to learn and grown! Hope you enjoy the video:)

beautiful! And so hypnotic. I’ve listened to it 3 times already. The acoustic sounds so alive and dynamic, and the flugelhorn sounds so breath-filled, serene. Really love this.

Incredible, Jesse!!!! Sounds amazing and I love the video! All the great colors and creative editing are really a joy to watch. And of course the music is gorgeous. Great job on the phase alignment too – guitar sounds excellent. You and Nadja both sound awesome! Bravo x 1000!

    Jesse,

Congrats. You completed your vision of this piece of art. Let’s not forget how much effort, time, and angst go into the creation process. Or is that just me?
