    MP MVP All Stars,

It’s art, you’re moving the listener. Period.

I have nothing else to offer up other than suggesting perhaps shifting some of the production budget from the fancy ass helicopter shots to wardrobe. A rugged button down shirt or at least a wrinkle-free t-shirt.

    With nothing but love,

    PT

OMG! I have a zillion wonderful memories of that epic adventure while watching this video again, @jlew, @horse, and @phillipbroussard!!! Gonna post a few pics here if I can. That particular day was a freaking SCORTCHER! 🥵 And the hike to that spot, carrying all our equipment … @detective just be happy we wore anything at all! LOLOL

What an UNREAL album and experience I will never ever forget.

Backstory for readers unaware of Jesse and Ike’s duo, Endless Field, these “field recordings” are done in remote wilderness using only battery and solar power for our recording equipment. You can check out all the videos from this album, each song filmed in a different remote location, at their website, https://www.endlessfieldband.com/

You really should – they’re all freaking amazing!

Here are a few short vids too of the day this vid was recorded! (The website didn’t want me to co-mingle photos and vids for some reason, so I’m adding them separately) – Enjoy!

Gosh this is an incredible project!! The compositions, performances and recordings – videos too! How epic and i’m so glad to know about this album, I will enjoy it. Thanks for all the work that went into creating these masterpieces!! It makes me want to record in nature more, what a great idea for a musical project, endless field. Love the way you and Ike play together Jesse!!! And spectacular sonics from Dana and co. I’m going to have to find some big ‘dead cats’ like you all were using!!

Awe, thanks, Joe! I’m so glad you connected with the Endless Field music and vids – and I love that you, too, are doing a lot of outdoor recording in nature!

You should check out the livestream page for vids of me working on @horse‘s large ensemble project, which also features @jlew – it’s more absolutely gorgeous music from these two ‘bad cats’!
